Why Novobit

Novobit is a private company founded and managed by Junqing Bi and family.

Junqing Bi founded Novobit after completing his PhD in laser optics at the University of Bern and working as a product manager for a leading Swiss cable producer. His goal was to supply Europe with super quality passive fiber optic components at an affordable rate.

Today, Novobit’s strong emphasis on manufacturing depth and quality has earned us a reputation as a trusted partner in markets throughout the world.

Our modern 20.000 m2 manufacturing plant and sales offices in Switzerland, Sweden and China allows us to provide the highest quality products with lightning fast service.

True Product Quality

At Novobit, we believe that true product quality in fiber optics can only be achieved with high manufacturing depth. We offer everything from bare 250μm buffer cable production over connecter casing molding to final interferometry testing.... all in house.

High-quality connector production

Our cable manufacturing lines are compliant to the newest CPR and UL regulations and can produce up to 72-fibre products. We have a fully equipped test lab with environmental chambers that inspect all cables for IEC compliance. Automated cable stripping, self-developed, high end curing ovens, and the latest polishing equipment ensure fast and high-quality connecter production.

Experienced Engineering Team

Novobit's connectors are designed by our experienced engineering team and produced on our injecting molding machines to ensure the tightest tolerances at any time. Well-calibrated, state-of-the art interferometry equipment tools are used to ensure fail-proof production. We are constantly integrating manufacturing capabilities and increasing efficiency on both ends of the supply chain to bring innovative, durable products to our customers.
