The MU Small Form Factor design is a mini version of the SC connector, with a 1.25mm diameter Zircona ferrule. Developed by NTT, and is very popular in Japan. The Novobit MU connector has a simple push-on connect/disconnect and is suitable for high density optical interconnect.
